Delicious Ranch Dressing Recipe | Healthy, Delicious, Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free
I very picky about my ranch dressing. I’ve even been known to choose a restaurant solely based on whether or not they offer a delicious ranch dressing.
So for me to say that this dressing is phenomenal… you can take it to the bank.
I found a version of it in the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook. Over the years I’ve tweaked the recipe, AND…. get this!!!! I EVEN MADE IT VEGAN! But you’d never know it if I hadn’t told you just now.
I’m not “vegan” but I do avoid most dairy. So having a dairy-free ranch dressing that is way healthier than those chemical-packed bottles you’ll find on the shelves at the grocery store is wonderful!

Yummiest And Easiest Healthy Ranch Recipe EVER
So here goes.
First you’ll mix up your ranch seasoning mix. This will make more than you need for one batch of ranch dressing, so store the extra in an airtight baggie or a mason jar.
Throw these five seasonings into a small food processor, then pulse for a bit.
- 3 TBSP garlic powder
- 3 TBSP dried minced onion
- 6 TBSP parsley flakes
- 3 TBSP sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
I love that these ingredients are ones that I almost always have in my pantry already.
Next, mix together the following ingredients into a bowl:
- 1 full packet of So Delicious! Yogurt Alternative (Unsweetened)
- 3 cups vegan mayonnaise
I generally use estimations here. I pour in the packet of yogurt and then add spoonfuls of mayonnaise until it looks like about 3 parts mayo and 1 part yogurt.
Then, you’ll sprinkle in about 2-3 TBSP of your ranch seasoning mix.
Stir, taste, tweak.
And finally, I add the mixture to a mason jar. I add about 3 TBSP of water, and shake well.
Voila!
You can make your dressing thicker (better for dipping raw veggies), or more watery (better for drizzling on salad while limiting calories). Just add tiny amounts of water (do not overdo it!!) until you have it how you want it. It will thicken as it chills in the fridge.
This ranch dressing is AMAZING. I will never again buy store-bought ranch. This tastes BETTER, and is much healthier as there are no chemicals, preservatives, etc… And best of all, my kiddos LOVE IT! They even eat salads now. It’s a miracle.

Healthy And Delicious Vegan Ranch Dressing

- Food Processor
Ingredients
- 3 cups Jus Mayo
- 1 cup So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Yogurt PLAIN
- 2 cups Water
- 3 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 3 tbsp Dried Minced Onion
- 6 tbsp sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups water Use less for thicker dressing.
Instructions
- In a small food processor combine all spices.
- Pulse and mix for approximately one minute.
- In a medium-sized bowl combine mayonnaise, yogurt, and the spice mix you just made.
- Stir together until the texture is smooth.
- Add water and keep stirring. Add about 1/2 cup at a time until the consistency is how you like it.
- Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
