Even I was surprised when I took the first sip of this frosted cinnamon roll protein shake last Tuesday morning. Oh. Em. Gee.

Being the health and fitness junkie that I tend to be, I’ve tried alllllll the protein shakes. Some look delicious in pictures, but taste like chalky milk. Bleck!

This one, I just happened to conjure up by accident.

I found this new, inexpensive, super healthy protein powder (thank you, Amazon!!) that is absolutely delicious, and I’ve been experimenting with it nonstop! What I love about it is that it’s low calorie, low fat, low carb, completely organic, grass-fed whey, and… my favorite part… sweetened ONLY with stevia and erythritol (natural, zero-calorie sweeteners that don’t spike or dip the blood sugar).

I also love THIS protein powder for a vegan option.

I grabbed a sample pack first, because most protein powders are either full of chemicals, or healthy but disgusting. But not this one!

You can use any vanilla protein powder of your choice if you don’t feel like waiting to order this one from Amazon!

This protein shake is weight-loss friendly, and only 250 calories, which is amazing considering how delicious it is. I’ve been drinking this for breakfast each morning and it stabilizes my blood sugar all through the day. My appetite is easier to manage, and I’m not drinking hundreds upon hundreds of calories first thing in the morning.

One morning I magically threw all of these ingredients into my inexpensive blender and voila! A cold mason jar full of the most refreshingly delicious protein shake I’ve ever created.

So naturally… I had to share it with you.

Kid Friendly

My kids are a tough crowd when it comes to protein shakes, but they love my frosted cinnamon roll protein shake. They’ll gulp it down before I can blink my eyes.

I can whip this up along with my own, and my kiddos have a healthy start to their day. That’s a win, considering they regularly beg for waffles with ready whip. 😉

Blender

I was recently asked what kind of blender I use, so I thought I’d share that here too. I use this one because it was super cheap but very powerful. It’s probably not going to have the capabilities of those amazing blenders that cost hundreds of dollars, but I love this one. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t take up much space (I keep it in my cabinet), and it makes a nice consistency for my protein shakes.

The funny thing is, I think this is technically a food processor. But hey – it does the trick! I use the larger one for my protein shake, and the medium and small ones for things like bullet-proof coffee.
